BIO: Orel Leonard (IV) Hershiser (Bulldog) was born in 1958 in Buffalo, NY and went to college at Bowling Green State University. He played major league baseball from 1983 to 2000 as pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants and the New York Mets, appeared in the 1995 and 1997 World Series, and was selected 3 times as an All-Star. He won the Cy Young Award in 1988 and was also the MLB Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year that year.
