BIO: Ervin Martin Palica (born Ervin Martin Pavliecivich) was born in 1928 in Lomita, CA and died in 1982 in Huntington Beach, CA. He played major league baseball from 1945 to 1956 as pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Baltimore Orioles, and appeared in the 1949 World Series.
