See scans for conition and signature quality. BIO: Burt Carlton Hooton was born in 1950 in Greenville, TX and went to college at the University of Texas at Austin. He played major league baseball from 1971 to 1985 as pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers and the Texas Rangers, appeared in the 1977, 1978 and 1981 World Series, and was selected in 1981 as an All-Star. Hooton will be remembered for two things: his knuckle curve pitch and the no-hitter he threw as a rookie on April 16, 1972, in his first appearance of the season. SKU: L14717
