BIO: Harold Bentley Jeffcoat was born in 1924 in West Columbia, SC and died in 2007 in Tampa, FL. He played major league baseball from 1948 to 1959 as outfielder and pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds and the St. Louis Cardinals. He is the younger brother of George Jeffcoat. His brothers William and Charles were minor league pitchers, and his son Harold Jeffcoat pitched in the minors.
