Bernard Oliver Bengough was born in 1898 in Niagara Falls, NY and died in 1968 in Philadelphia, PA. He went to college at Niagara University. He played major league baseball from 1923 to 1932 as catcher for the New York Yankees and St. Louis Browns, and appeared in the 1927 and 1928 World Series.
