BIO: Wayne Harper Ambler was born in Abington, PA and died in 1998 in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. He went to college at Duke University. He played major league baseball from 1937 to 1939 as shortstop and 2nd baseman for the Philadelphia Athletics.
