BIO: Ted Glenn Gray was born in 1924 in Detroit, MI and died in 2011 in Delray Beach, FL. He played major league baseball from 1946 to 1955 as pitcher for the Detroit Tigers (primarily), Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles, and was selected in 1950 as an All-Star. Gray pitched all but one season of his nine-year major league career with the Detroit Tigers. In his last season, the poor guy was released by four American League teams.
