BIO: Steven Russell Trout was born in 1957 in Detroit, MI. He played major league baseball from 1978 to 1989 as pitcher for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners. He was the pitching coach of the 1995 Merrillville Muddogs. The son of Dizzy Trout, pitcher Steve Trout attempted to make a comeback at age 39 with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1997, eight years after his last big league game.
