He played major league baseball from 1989 to 2007 as outfielder for the Blatimore Orioles, Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies, appeared in the 1998 and 2001 World Series, and was selected twice as an All-Star.
