Edward Robert Miller (Eppie) was born in 1916 in Pittsburgh, PA and died in 1997 in Lake Worth, FL. He played major league baseball from 1936 to 1950 as shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Bees, Boston Braves, Philadelphia Phillies and the St. Louis Cardinals, and was selected 7 times as an All-Star. Berthold John Haas was born in 1914 in Naperville, IL and died in 1999 in Tampa, FL. He played major league baseball from 1937 to 1951 as infielder and outfielder for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Giants and the Chicago White Sox, and was selected in 1947 as an All-Star.
