BIO: Charles Sidney Fernandez was born in 1962 in Honolulu, HI. He played major league baseball from 1983 to 1997 as pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies and the Houston Astros, appeared in the 1986 World Series, and was selected twice as an All-Star. Sid wore #50 in honor of his home state and his favorite television program, "Hawaii Five-0." He was discovered by Hawaiian scout Iron Maehara.
