BIO: Daniel Joseph Staub (Le Grand Orange) was born in 1944 in New Orleans, LA and died in 2018 in West Palm Beach, FL. He played major league baseball from 1963 to 1985 as outfielder and 1st baseman for the Houston Colt .45's, Houston Astros, Montreal Expos, New York Mets, Detroit Tigers and the Texas Rangers, appeared in the 1973 World Series, and was selected 6 times as an All-Star. He was a television broadcaster for the New York Mets from 1986 to 1995. He was also a restaurant owner, and for a time in the late 1990s operated a restaurant at Stade Olympique in Montreal called Rusty 10.
