See scans for further details including signature quality and photo condition. BIO: Ronald Hamilton Blackburn was born in 1935 in Mount Airy, NC and died in 1998 in Morganton, NC. He went to college at Catawba College and Western Carolina University. He played major league baseball from 1958 to 1959 as pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Following his playing career, Blackburn was a teacher and baseball coach at the university before becoming the recreation director at the Western Correction Center in Morganton, NC SKU: L08433
