BIO: Americo Peter Petrocelli was born in 1943 in Brooklyn, NY. He played major league baseball from 1963 to 1976 as shortstop and 3rd baseman for the Boston Red Sox, appeared in the 1967 and 1975 World Series, and was selected twice as an All-Star. After his retirement he worked as a minor league coach for several years, mostly for the Red Sox organization. Petrocelli managed the 1986 Appleton Foxes, 1987-1988 Birmingham Barons and 1992 Pawtucket Red Sox. He later ran his own business, working at baseball clinics and in radio.
