BIO: Richard Charles Wise was born in 1945 in Jackson, MI. He played major league baseball from 1964 to 1982 as pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians and the San Diego Padres, appeared in the 1975 World Series, and was selected in 1971 and 1973 as an All-Star.
