He played major league baseball from 1953 to 1960 as 3rd baseman and outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, New York Giants, San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Athletics, and was selected in 1954 as an All-Star. Everett Lamar Bridges was born in 1927 in Refugio, TX and died in 2015 in Coeur d’Alene, ID. He played major league baseball from 1951 to 1961 as infielder for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Senators, Detroit Tigers, Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Angels, and was selected in 1958 as an All-Star.
