BIO: Preston Meyer Ward was born in 1927 in Columbia, MO and died in 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. He played major league baseball from 1948 to 1959 as 1st and 3rd baseman and outfielder for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Cleveland Indians and the Kansas City Athletics.
