BIO: Milton Frank Bocek was born in 1912 in Chicago, IL and died in 2007 in Brookfield, IL. He played major league baseball from 1933 to 1934 as Chicago White Sox for the . Bocek played college baseball at the University of Wisconsin in the Big 10 and earned an engineering degree there. He and a pitcher named Nello Pacetti were the stars of the school's 1933 team. After his playing days, Bocek worked as an engineer. He also served as a military policeman in the South Pacific during World War II.
