COMMENTS / CONDITION: Offered is an approximately 5"x7" original vintage photo of Mike Kreevich, pictured in his Chicago White Sox uniform circa 1938. One of a collection of thirty Type 1 original period photos to be offered this week. Each bears the stamping of Apex Photograph Company on the verso, with several also having the stamping of the American League Service Bureau as well. Mose (all?) appear to be photos taken by Chicago photographer George Burke, but I have not done the extensive image searching necessary to confirm, so please just consider that a possibility for your own future research. Guaranteed to be a vintage, original photograph, not a modern day reproduction. See scans for further details including condition and stamping.

BIO: Michael Andreas Kreevich was born in Mount Olive, IL and died in 1994 in Pana, IL. He played major league baseball from 1931 to 1945 as outfielder for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Philadelphia Athletics, St. Louis Browns, and the Washington Senators, appeared in the 1944 World Series, and was selected once as an All-Star.
