See scans for conition and signature quality. BIO: Martin Gregory Karow (born Martin Gregory Karowsky) was born in 1904 in Braddock, PA and died in 1986 in Bryan, TX. He went to college at Ohio State University. He played major league baseball for a single season in 6 games in 1927 as shortstop and 3rd baseman for the Boston Red Sox. Later, Karow was coach at the United States Naval Academy (1937), Texas A&M University (1938-1941, 1948-1950) and Ohio State University (1951-1975). He led the Buckeyes to the College World Series in 1951, 1965, 1966, and 1967, winning the 1966 College World Series. He managed Team USA to a Gold Medal in the 1967 Pan American Games, the only US Gold in the event through 2011. SKU: CL02464
