He played major league baseball from 1973 to 1982 as catcher for the Montreal Expos, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs and the New York Yankees, and appeared in the 1981 World Series. After retiring, Foote became a minor league manager for the Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays and later a major league coach. Michael Ray Tyson was born in 1950 in Rocky Mount, NC. He played major league baseball from 1972 to 1981 as 2nd baseman and shortstop for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs. William Joseph Buckner (Billy Buck) was born in 1949 in Vallejo, CA and died in 2019 in Boise, ID. He played major league baseball from 1969 to 1990 as outfielder and 1st baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox, California Angels and the Kansas City Royals, appeared in the 1974 and 1986 World Series, and was selected in 1981 as an All-Star. Bill Buckner played in the majors in four decades and was one of baseball's better hitters of the late 1970s and early 1980s but is unfortunately best remembered for making an infamous error in the 1986 World Series when he let Mookie Wilson's groundball trickle through his legs in Game 6. After his playing days, Buckner was a Chicago White Sox coach in 1996 and 1997. Carroll Christopher Chambliss was born in Dayton, OH and went to college at UCLA. He played major league baseball from 1971 to 1988 as 1st baseman for the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves, appeared in the 1976, 1977 and 1978 World Series, and was selected in 1976 as an All-Star. He was the 1976 AL Rookie of the Year, and won the Gold Glove for fielding in 1978. In 1989, Chambliss became the manager for the Double-A London Tigers of the Eastern League, an affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The London Tigers won the Eastern League title in 1990, playing out of Labatt Park. That same year Chambliss was named Minor League Manager of the Year by The Sporting News. Chambliss was also a hitting coach with the Yankees, and has the distinction of being one of two men who have worn a Yankee uniform (player or coach) during each of the Yankees' last six World Series Championship seasons (1977, 1978, 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000) -- the other is former New York Mets manager Willie Randolph. He was also the hitting coach for the New York Mets. Chambliss worked as hitting coach of the Cincinnati Reds, until he was fired on October 11, 2006. He is currently the manager of the Triple A Charlotte Knights. SKU: XP12016
