He played major league baseball from 1963 to 1979 as pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets and the San Diego Padres, appeared in the 1968 World Series, and was selected 3 times as an All-Star. With his playing career over, Lolich continued to run his donut shop for several years, before selling the business and retiring to Oregon. William Alvan Faul was born in 1940 in Cincinnati, OH and died in 2002 in Cincinnati, OH. He went to college at the University of Cincinnati. He played major league baseball from 1962 to 1970 as pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, Chicago Cubs and the San Francisco Giants. Although he had a non-descript career (12-16 career record), Bill Faul is rememebered for eating a live frog in the clubhouse and using a hypnotist to control his pitches. SKU: XP11817
