He played major league baseball from 1965 to 1982 as 1st baseman and outfielder for the Cincinnati Reds, Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles and the Kansas City Royals, appeared in the 1970 and 1979 World Series, and was selected 3 times as an All-Star. He was sometimes called the "Big Bopper". He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in July 2006. He is the brother of Carlos May and the father of Lee May Jr. SKU: XP11814
