BIO: Denis John Menke was born in 1940 in Algona, IA and died in 2020 in Tarpon Springs, FL. He played major league baseball from 1962 to 1974 as infielder for the Milwaukee Braves, Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros and the Cincinnati Reds, appeared in the 1972 World Series, and was selected twice as an All-Star. He managed in the minors from 1977-79. In 1993 he was a hitting instructor for the division-winning 1993 Phillies. He was the hitting coach for the Reds from 1997-2000.

William Haron Bruton was born in 1925 in Panola, AL and died in 1995 in Marshallton, DE. He played major league baseball from 1953 to 1964 as outfielder for the Milwaukee Braves and the Detroit Tigers, and appeared in the 1958 World Series. His brother Jack Bruton played in the Negro Leagues.

John (Jr.) Logan (Yachta) was born in 1927 in Endicott, NY and died in 2013 in Milwaukee, WI. He played major league baseball from 1951 to 1963 as shortstop for the Boston Braves, Milwaukee Braves and the Pittsburgh Pirates, appeared in the 1957 and 1958 World Series, and was selected 4 times as an All-Star. After his playing days, Logan remained in Milwaukee and spent time as a broadcaster, ran for sheriff and was engaged in a variety of other endeavors in and out of baseball. He has scouted for the Brewers, primarily in the state of Wisconsin. He was one of the founders and president of the Milwaukee Braves Historical Association.

Charles Keith Cottier was born in 1936 in Delta, CO. He played major league baseball from 1959 to 1969 as infielder for the Milwaukee Braves, Detroit Tigers, Washington Senators and the California Angels. After his playing days, Cottier was a minor league manager, then a New York Mets coach from 1979 to 1981. He joined the Seattle Mariners staff in 1982, and in 1984, he replaced Del Crandall as the team's skipper. After posting a 98-119 mark in about two years at the helm, he was fired and became a Chicago Cubs coach from 1988 to 1994. He spent the next season on the Orioles staff and then was a Philadelphia Phillies coach from 1997 to 2000.

Richard George Bertell was born in 1935 in Oak Park, IL and died in 1999 in Mission Viejo, CA. He went to college at Iowa State University. He played major league baseball from 1960 to 1967 as catcher for the Chicago Cubs and the San Francisco Giants.
