He played minor league baseball from 1954 to 1956 as outfielder for the McAlester Rockets, Monroe Sports and the Quincy Gems, and appeared in the 1931 . The brother of Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle, outfielder Roy Mantle played three seasons of minor league ball. With the Monroe Sports in 1955, he hit .272 with 6 home runs and was a Cotton States League All-Star. SKU: X11233a
