BIO: David Mark Winfield was born in 1951 in St. Paul, MN and went to college at the University of Minnesota. He played major league baseball from 1973 to 1995 as outfielder for the San Diego Padres, New York Yankees, California Angels, Toronto Blue Jays, Minnesota Twins and the Cleveland Indians, appeared in the 1981 and 1992 World Series, was selected 12 times as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001. Winfield earned a total of 7 Gold Glove Awards in the outfield, as well as 6 Silver Slugger Awards. Winfield never won an MVP award, and never led the league in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, home runs, doubles, triples, or runs scored, but he had a long, successful career with over 3,100 hits and more than 1,800 RBI. He currently works in the front office of the San Diego Padres and as a spring training instructor.

Rickey Henley Henderson (Man of Steal) was born in 1958 in Chicago, IL. He played major league baseball from 1979 to 2003 as outfielder and designated hitter for the Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, San Diego Padres, Anaheim Angels, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers, appeared in the 1989, 1990 and 1993 World Series, was selected 10 times as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009. Henderson, who is known for habitually speaking of himself in the third person, was the 1990 American League MVP, earned a Gold Glove award in 1981, and a total of 3 Silver Slugger Awards as an outfielder. He led the American League in stolen bases 12 times, and holds the career stolen bases record with 1406. When time came to vote on his candidacy for the Hall of Fame, he was elected with overwhelming support on the first ballot. Shortly after his induction in Cooperstown in 2009, the Oakland Athletics retired his uniform number 24. After the 2007 All-Star Game, he was appointed as first base coach by the New York Mets.

Philip Henry Niekro was born in 1939 in Blaine, OH and died in 2020 in Flowery Branch, GA. He played major league baseball from 1964 to 1987 as pitcher for the Milwaukee Braves, Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians and the Toronto Blue Jays, was selected 5 times as an All-Star, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. Niekro earned a total of 5 Gold Glove Awards for pitching. After his retirement, he became manager of the Colorado Silver Bullets, an all-female baseball team that toured the country playing semi-pro men's teams. He also managed Atlanta's AAA farm team, the Richmond Braves, in 1991.

Brian Kevin Fisher was born in 1962 in Honolulu, HI. He played major league baseball from 1985 to 1992 as pitcher for the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Houston Astros and the Seattle Mariners.
