BIO: Leo Patrick Kiely (Kiki) was born in 1929 in Hoboken, NJ and died in 1984 in Montclair, NJ. He played major league baseball from 1951 to 1960 as pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and the Kansas City Athletics. Kiely’s achievement of winning 20 games in relief during a season while with the San Francisco Seals in the Pacific Coast League stands in sharp contrast to a middling career with the Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Athletics.
