BIO: Catherine Kay Blumetta (Swish) was born in 1923 and died in 1997. He played major league baseball from 1944 to 1954 as utility for the Minneapolis Millerettes, Milwaukee Chicks, Grand Rapids Chicks, Peoria Redwings, Fort Wayne Daisies and the Kalamazoo Lassies. Catherine Kay Blumetta was a utility who played for six different clubs in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League between the 1944 and 1954 seasons. Listed at 5 ft 8 in (1.73 m), 150 lb., she batted and threw right-handed.
