COMMENTS / CONDITION: Jim Henry played for the Chicago Black Hawks from 1948-49. This is one of a number of Black Hawks photos to be listed this week that were obtained from a collector over 30 years ago (which is when these prints appear to have been produced). Though all are second generation photos, they nonetheless offer some nice views of Chicago players from the 1930's to 1950's, some of whom are tough to come by any images of them at all. A number of the photos appear to have been affixed in a scrapbook at some point, and may have a small amount of scrapbook paper that remains affixed to the verso. Any signatures you see are facsimiles, NOT hand-signed. See scans for further details including condition.

James Francis Henry was born in 1910 in Danville, VA and died in 1976 in Memphis, TN. He played major league baseball from 1936 to 1939 as pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Phillies.
