BIO: John Richard Schofield (Ducky) was born in 1935 in Springfield, IL and died in 2022 in Springfield, IL. He played major league baseball from 1953 to 1971 as infielder for the St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and the Milwaukee Brewers, and appeared in the 1960 and 1968 World Series.
