BIO: Jonathan Trumpbour Matlack was born in 1950 in West Chester, PA. He played major league baseball from 1971 to 1983 as pitcher for the New York Mets and the Texas Rangers, appeared in the 1973 World Series, and was selected 3 times as an All-Star. Matlack was the National League Rookie of the Year in 1972.
