BIO: John William Buzhardt was born in 1936 in Prosperity, SC and died in 2008 in Prosperity, SC. He played major league baseball from 1958 to 1968 as pitcher for the Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles and the Houston Astros. After baseball, John resided in his hometown of Prosperity, South Carolina, where he was a foreman for the Kodak Company.
