He played major league baseball from 1944 to 1956 as pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, New York Yankees and the St. Louis Cardinals, appeared in the 1950 World Series, and was selected in 1950 as an All-Star. In 1950, when the Phils "Whiz Kids" won the National League pennant, Konstanty was named the Most Valuable Player. SKU: L14704
