BIO: James Leland Barr was born in 1948 in Lynwood, CA and went to college at the University of Southern California. He played major league baseball from 1971 to 1983 as pitcher for the San Francisco Giants and the California Angels. Since ending his playing days, Barr has been pitching coach at Sacramento State since 1995.
