See scans for conition and signature quality. BIO: Handley Jacob Daniel was born in 1911 in Roanoke, AL and died in 1996 in LaGrange, GA. He played major league baseball for a single season in 7 games in 1937 as 1st baseman for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Daniel managed four low-level minor league teams for parts of four seasons between 1946 and 1953, including the LaGrange Troupers in 1946, the New Bern Bears in 1947, the Valley Rebels in 1950, and finishing with the Vidalia Indians in 1953.
