BIO: Harlond Benton Clift (Darkie) was born in 1912 in ElReno, OK and died in 1992 in Yakima, WA. He played major league baseball from 1934 to 1945 as 3rd baseman for the St. Louis Browns and the Washington Senators, and was selected in 1937 as an All-Star.
