BIO: Harold Arthur Trosky Sr. (born Harold Arthur Trojovsky) was born in 1912 in Norway, IA and died in 1979 in Cedar Rapids, IA. He played major league baseball from 1933 to 1946 as 1st baseman for the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago White Sox. After his career, he was a farmer and then did agricultural real estate sales. He was the father of Hal Trosky, Jr.
