BIO: Grady Herbert Wilson was born in 1922 in Columbus, GA and died in 2003 in Columbus, GA. He went to college at Troy State University. He played major league baseball for a single season in 1948 as shortstop for the Pittsburgh Pirates. After his active playing time was finished Grady took up the managing end of the game and spent six seasons in the Milwaukee and Kansas City organizations.
