BIO: Glenn Alfred Beckert was born in 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA and died in 2020 in Englewood, FL. He went to college at Allegheny College. He played major league baseball from 1965 to 1975 as 2nd baseman for the Chicago Cubs and the San Diego Padres, and was selected 4 times as an All-Star. Following his baseball career, he was a commodities trader at the Chicago Board of Trade.
