BIO: George Cyril Methodius Susce (Good Kid) was born in 1907 in Pittsburgh, PA and died in 1986 in Sarasota, FL. He went to college at St. Bonaventure University. He played major league baseball from 1929 to 1944 as catcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Browns and Cleveland Indians. His unusual nickname, "Good Kid," was given to him as a young player because of his eagerness to help with mundane tasks associated with baseball. SKU: GB12731
