BIO: Garland Maiers Buckeye (Gob) was born in 1897 in Heron Lake, MN and died in 1975 in Stone Lake, WI. He went to college at Wabash College. He played major league baseball from 1918 to 1928 as pitcher for the Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians and the New York Giants.
