BIO: Floyd Franklin Bannister was born in 1955 in Pierre, SD and went to college at Arizona State University. He played major league baseball from 1977 to 1992 as pitcher for the Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals, California Angels and the Texas Rangers, and was selected in 1982 as an All-Star.
