BIO: Elmer Ellsworth Leonard (Tiny) was born in 1888 in Napa, CA and died in 1981 in Napa, CA. He went to college at Saint Mary's College of California. He played major league baseball for a single season in 5 games in 1911 as pitcher for the Philadelphia Athletics. A big man at 210 lbs., he was of course nicknamed "Tiny."
