BIO: Edwin Henry Palmer (Baldy) was born in 1893 in Petty, TX and died in 1983 in Marlow, OK. He played major league baseball for a single season in 1917 as 3rd baseman and shortstop for the Philadelphia Athletics. After his playing days he was an umpire in the Texas League for eight years.
