BIO: Horace Guy Womack was born in 1939 in Columbia, SC. He played major league baseball from 1966 to 1970 as pitcher for the New York Yankees, Houston Astros, Seattle Pilots and the Oakland Athletics. On May 14, 1967, he won the game in which Mickey Mantle hit his 500th career home run.
