See scans for conition and signature quality. BIO: Donald Alvin Buford was born in 1937 in Linden, TX and went to college at the University of Southern California. He played major league baseball from 1963 to 1972 as 2nd and 3rd baseman and outfielder for the Chicago White Sox and the Baltimore Orioles, appeared in the 1969, 1970 and 1971 World Series, and was selected in 1971 as an All-Star. From 1973 to 1976, Buford played for the Nankai Hawks in Japan. After his playing career, he was a San Francisco Giants coach from 1981 to 1984 and a member of the Baltimore Orioles staff in 1994. He was also a Washington Nationals coach in 2005. Additionally, he managed the 1992 Hagerstown Suns, 1993 Bowie Baysox, 2003 Bluefield Orioles, 2004 Aberdeen IronBirds, and 2006 Daytona Cubs.
