BIO: Richard Larry Green was born in 1941 in Sioux City, IA. He played major league baseball from 1963 to 1974 as 2nd and 3rd baseman for the Kansas City and Oakland Athletics, and appeared in the 1972, 1973 and 1974 World Series. In his post-playing days, Dick Green operated a moving company in Rapid City, SD, which he eventually sold to his partner.
