BIO: James Cory Snyder was born in 1962 in Inglewood, CA and went to college at Brigham Young University. He played major league baseball from 1986 to 1994 as infielder for the Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Snyder was a member of the United States National Baseball Team at the 1984 Olympics. He appeared along with Joe Carter on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1987. Many people point to this cover as a classic case of the 'Sports Illustrated cover jinx'. The Indians had a terrible year, going 61-101 despite the bright predictions by Sports Illustrated.
