BIO: Charles Edward (Jr.) Hinton was born in 1934 in Rocky Mount, NC and died in 2013 in Washington, D.C.. He went to college at Shaw University. He played major league baseball from 1961 to 1971 as outfielder and 1st and 2nd baseman for the Washington Senators, Cleveland Indians and the California Angels, and was selected in 1964 as an All-Star.
