See scans for signature quality and photo condition. BIO: Charles William Lea was born in 1956 in Orleans, France and died in 2011 in Collierville, TN. He went to college at the University of Memphis. He played major league baseball from 1980 to 1988 as pitcher for the Montreal Expos and the Minnesota Twins, and was selected in 1984 as an All-Star. Because his career was cut short by injuries just as he was being recognized as one of baseball's best starting pitchers, Charlie Lea has been largely forgotten. However, from 1980 to 1984, he was a key member of one of baseball's best pitching staffs and probably the Montreal Expos' most consistent pitcher over the period. SKU: CL01306
